Public Debt of the Republic of Belarus as of March 1, 2022
As of March 1, 2022 public debt amounted to 61.4 billion rubles and increased by 3.2 billion rubles or 5.4% from the beginning of the 2022.
External public debt amounted to 17.8 billion USD as of March 1, 2022 and decreased by 0.5 billion USD or 2.6% from the beginning of the year (taking into account exchange rate differences).
In January-February 2022 external public debt disbursements were made in the amount of 130.1 million USD, external debt redemption – 388.1 million USD.
Domestic public debt amounted to 12.4 billion rubles as of March 1, 2022 and increased by 0.6 billion rubles or 4.9% from the beginning of the year (taking into account exchange rate differences).
In January-February 2022 redemption of foreign currency and local currency government bonds for legal entities and individuals amounted to 56.2 million USD.
There was no placement of government bonds.
