Public Debt of the Republic of Belarus as of February 1, 2022

As of February 1, 2022 public debt amounted to 58.9 billion rubles and increased by 0.6 billion rubles or 1.1% from the beginning of the 2022.

External public debt amounted to 17.9 billion USD as of February 1, 2022 and decreased by 0.3 billion USD or 1.6% from the beginning of the year (taking into account exchange rate differences).

In January 2022 external public debt disbursements were made in the amount of 65.3 million USD, external debt redemption – 271.9 million USD.

Domestic public debt amounted to 12.0 billion rubles as of February 1, 2022 and increased by 0.2 billion rubles or 1.6% from the beginning of the year (taking into account exchange rate differences).

In January 2022 there were no placement and redemption of domestic government bonds.
