Public Debt of the Republic of Belarus as of December 1, 2021

As of December 1, 2021 public debt amounted to 58.3 billion rubles and increased by 0.5 billion rubles or 0.9% from the beginning of the 2021.

External public debt amounted to 18.2 billion USD as of December 1, 2021 and decreased by 0.4 billion USD or 2.1% from the beginning of the year (taking into account exchange rate differences).

In January-November 2021 external public debt disbursements were made in the amount of 1 164.9 million USD, external debt redemption – 1 515.6 million USD.

Domestic public debt amounted to 11.9 billion rubles as of December 1, 2021 and increased by 2.0 billion rubles or 20.0% from the beginning of the year (taking into account exchange rate differences).

Placement of domestic foreign currency and local currency government bonds for legal entities and individuals amounted to 1 237.7 million USD in equivalent and 191.0 million rubles in January-November 2021. Redemption of foreign currency and local currency government bonds for legal entities and individuals amounted to 333.1 million USD and 145.0 million rubles.
